Besides chocolate, the one go-to I insist on when I need a pick-me-up is a little thing I like to call retail therapy. I must admit I am somewhat of an online-shopaholic but I like to think that I'm a smart, savvy online shopper.

Online private sample sale sites are popping up everywhere, even WWD insists that these online sample sale sites are the new way to shop. Free to join, these sites offer 2-day boutiques selling anything from clothing, accessories and even cosmetics from different designer brands at steep discount prices. You receive emails every week letting you know what great boitiques are coming up and when they start so you can be first in line. Best of all it's totally free to join and no waiting in line at some stuffy overpacked warehouse getting tackled over that cute bag you're eyeing.
