I was super excited about Zoya's fall collection of matte shades, so you can guess how much more excited I was to find out that for their winter collection Zoya will be releasing 3 more limited edition matte shades.
The new shades include Savita (plum gray matte shimmer), Harlow (rose matte shimmer) and Veruschuka (evergreen matte shimmer).
Matte Velvet Winter by Zoya will be available September 15, 2009.

For their Fall 2009 Matte Velvet collection Zoya has come out with 3 wearable matte polish shades including Dovima (black), Loredana (grey) and Posh (wine). Each color features a blend of matte base and a subtle shimmer resulting in a unique formula.
I decided to give the grey color Loredana a test run to see just how well these new matte shades held up. The color is a nice gunmetal grey, I don't have a lot of greys so it's a nice addition to my collection. It's a matte color but it doesn't look flat and boring, it has a very nice subtle shimmer to it if you look close.
I found the matte polish a bit harder to work with at first as the formula is a bit different. It is not intended to be used with a base coat or a top coat so I just applied to clean nails, 3 coats.
Zoya warns that due to the unique matte formulation, the matte colors are not as long-wearing as traditional nail colors and I definitely found this to be true. I had some minor tip wear after the second day and by the third day it was quite chipped. It's definitely a temporary nail color and not a long wear one.
Although they didn't last as long as I'd hoped, I'm seriously loving these colors. I can't stop checking out my nails. Loredana is my top fav and definitely worth a try.
I guess you could say I'm green with envy over this falls hottest nail color. From jade greens and forest greens to dark almost black greens, green is everywhere for fall!
I remember back during fall fashion week seeing Chanel's Jade Green color and drooling at the perfect peppermint patty green color and i've been anticipating it's October 2009 arrival ever since.
My current fav though has to be Zoya's Suvi which is a gorgeous shimmering emerald color. It takes a few coats, but it is love!
Sephora by OPI also has a nice new green out that is a pretty, dark almost black green color called Dark Room.
Forget glossy laquered nails, next season is all about the matte. OPI, Zoya, Orly and even Maybelline are dropping some of the hottest colors of the season in newly mattified versions this one is not to miss.
But don't go throwing out all your high shine nail colors just yet, top nail care line Essie is introducing a new finisher treatment, aptly called Matte About You, the new top coat will transform any nailpolish into a better matified version.
Matte About You will be in stores and online August 2009.
