Just as a prenote, as some of you may know my hair is platinum blonde and as much as I know (and preach) that avoiding heat styling is damaging every once in a while you just can't help but blow dry or run a flat iron through your hair, right? For the most part my hair is in good condition, much to my hair stylists surprise. I use moisturizing products and get it trimmed regularly but when it comes to bleaching hair (yes going blonde involves bleaching) some damage is unavoidable.  So although I try and take necessary precautions in times like the summer when I'm out in the sun a lot my hair can tend to feel a bit on the dry side and in need of extra moisture.

My number one favorite moisturizing treatment for whipping my hair back into shape would have to be Kerastase Masquintense, it's amazing and leaves my hair feeling like, well, hair! But at $50 for a 6.8-ounce bottle this treatment can run a little expensive so I'm always on the lookout for a product that gives me the same great results while being a little easier on the wallet.

So to continue my search I decided to give Redken's All Soft Heavy Cream a try, at $17 for a 8.5-ounce tube the price was a little more affordable. I have tried other products from the Redken All Soft line in the past as I've heard raves about it from many people but to be honest I didn't think much of it and found it just didn't perform as well as other salon brands but I hadn't tried the Heavy Cream so I thought I would give it a fair chance and try it out.
